Jan Jelinek – Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records (2001) - alphawaves #25
Music made from vinyl dust
This album is a special one for me. I came across Jan the following year, in 2002, through a live set broadcast on Triple J’s The Sound Lab late one Sunday night, which I recorded on my MiniDisc. I attribute that recording—and the rest of Jan’s body of work—to getting me through university; it was deeply therapeutic and, even today, holds a very special place in my heart. P.S. Will be sharing that recording in a future edition - stay tuned.
